Out with the plastic, in with the box
We've never been ones for big promises or wild claims. What we did commit to, as a business, was simple: do as much as we can, when we can, and never waste natural resources if there's a better way. And if we can replace something with a better product that we make ourselves, we will.
That's how we've always worked. We send our orders out using the best possible method that fits our ethics, and we offer Bio-glitter® for anyone who wants a plant-based choice. Now it's the turn of our glitter packaging.
Saying goodbye to the header bag
For years our cosmetic glitter pots have gone out in plastic header bags. They did the job, but they were plastic, and they were thrown away as soon as they were opened. So we've replaced them with something we make ourselves: a recyclable kraft box with a fitted insert.
Each pot sits snugly in its own space, so it arrives safely and looks smart the moment you open the lid. And unlike the bag, the box isn't finished once it's opened. It's a gift set ready to give, and a safe place to keep your glitter afterwards, with every colour in its place. We've made inserts for our round pots, our heart-shaped pots and our Bio-glitter tins, so the whole range can come in the new box.

For businesses
We already supply many businesses with these pots, from lip balm and tea light makers to nail bars. Now they'll be able to buy the boxes and inserts too, so their own products can be sold as a smart, plastic-free gift set.
Our standard boxes and inserts will be available to buy on their own, plain or printed with your own branding, through our Trade Centre within the next week or so. We know they're going to be a massive hit.
