The Glitter Tree Reviews: Why Honest Reviews Matter to Us and Our Customers

At The Glitter Tree, every review is from a real customer, about the product you're looking at today. Here's our review policy, how it works, and why it matters to us and to you.

Who are The Glitter Tree?

We're a small UK business based in the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds. We make our own glitter tattoo stencils and our own body art adhesive, and we've been helping families, party hosts and festival fans create glitter tattoos for years. We're an honest and open company, and the way we handle reviews is a big part of that.

Where can I read reviews of The Glitter Tree?

Right here on our website. Every product now has its own reviews, so you can see what real customers think of the exact item you're looking at, not just the shop in general. You can also read reviews of The Glitter Tree on Trustpilot, Google and Amazon.

How do I find the reviews for a product?

Open any product on our website and scroll down past Product Details, How to Use and Safety & Compliance. You'll find the Customer Reviews section there, showing every review for that exact product, newest first. If a product hasn't been reviewed yet, it will say so. We'd never fill the gap with fake ones.

How do I leave a review?

The easiest way is through the email we send you about a week after your order goes out. Just click the link, pick your stars, write a few words about how you got on, and add a photo if you like. You can also leave a review at any time by going to the product page, scrolling down to Customer Reviews and clicking Write a review. It only takes a minute, and it really helps the next customer.

Why don't you show old reviews?

Because things move on. Can you imagine reading a review of a product sold ten years ago and deciding to buy it today? We can't either. With our new website and new products, we've made a fresh start, so every review you read is about the product as it is now. We show the newest reviews first.

What happens after I buy from you?

About a week after we send your order, you'll get one friendly email from us asking how you got on. Just one email per order, even if you bought several products, so we're not filling up your inbox. You can review each item you bought, so the next customer gets a genuine picture of the exact product they're thinking of buying. If you'd rather not leave a review, that's absolutely fine.

Who collects your reviews?

We use Judge.me, an independent review platform, to collect and display our reviews. Reviews from customers who have bought from us are marked as verified buyers, so you can see who has actually ordered the product. We're not paid by Judge.me, and we don't get anything in return for reviews. Their job is simply to collect what our customers say and show it honestly.

Do you pay for reviews or push people to leave them?

Never. We don't pay for reviews, we don't offer discounts in return for them, and we don't use pushy tricks to get five stars. A review is given freely or not at all.

Do you publish bad reviews?

Yes. If something wasn't right, we want to know about it, and so does the next customer. We'll reply, and we'll put it right where we can. Honest criticism helps us make our products better.

Have you ever had unfair reviews?

Yes, and that's a big reason this page exists. Like a lot of small businesses, we've been targeted by other sellers, and by friends of other sellers who thought they were helping by leaving negative reviews about products they'd never bought. It's even happened to us on Amazon, where another seller and an Amazon Vine reviewer targeted our products. That's why we check every review comes from a genuine customer before it goes up. Fake reviews, good or bad, have no place here.

Does leaving a fake review help a friend's business?

No, it does the opposite. A fake five-star review for a friend, or a fake one-star review for their competitor, doesn't make their products any better. It hides what real customers think, so they never find out what needs fixing. It makes a business lazy, and sooner or later customers notice. It's also illegal. Since April 2025, fake reviews have been banned under UK consumer law, and businesses that write, buy or arrange them can face heavy fines. Fake reviews mislead shoppers and damage honest small businesses that have worked hard to build something real. If you want to help a friend's business, buy from them and leave an honest review. That's the help that actually counts.

Why should this make me feel safe buying from you?

Because what you read here is real. No paid reviews, no fake stars, no reviews about products from years ago. We'd rather have a handful of honest reviews than thousands nobody can believe. When you buy from The Glitter Tree, you know exactly who you're dealing with.
